We’re starting off February with a bang with TWO events to kick off the month. Join us for breakfast to hear from new Arts Council Chair Allisa Babor. Then at 3pm we’ll meet back up at City Hall to unveil our new mural of Brooksvillian Jerome Brown. Although it’s always a great time to honor Jerome, this week is especially fitting as Saturday is his birthday and his Philadelphia Eagles are heading to the Super Bowl!Scroll down for details… |
Brooksville Main Street, Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, Florida’s Adventure Coast, and happily host Brooksville Matters! This monthly breakfast updates you on all things Brooksville and how you can be involved in the happenings. You’ll have the inside scoop on projects, policy, events, and both public and private developments. We meet the first Wednesday of each month. This month, on Wednesday, February 1, our speakers will be Hernando County Fine Arts Council Chair Allisa Babor. Allisa may be new to the position, but she isn’t new to leadership in Brooksville. Allisa has founded and headed up a downtown business association, Co-Chairs Brooksville Main Street Design Committee, and has been instrumental in the massive strides we’ve seen in our Arts community. We’ll see you at The Bistro for breakfast at 7:30am, followed by our meeting that ends promptly at 9. |
