Manatee County, FL – In 2023, the Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) is offering four $1,200 scholarships to junior or senior college students, according to Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Michael Bennett.
Applicants must be registered to vote in Manatee County, must have lived in the state for at least the two preceding years. They must also be at least a college junior or senior, and be majoring in either Political Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Journalism/Mass Communication. Applicants must be enrolled in, or accepted for, full-time studies in an accredited college or university in Florida, and have at least a C average for the previous year.

Applications must be submitted to the Elections Office of the county in which the applicant is registered to vote. Each county will select one finalist to submit to the FSE Scholarship Committee for consideration.
