
Senior Vice President Louie Granteed represents landlord in new deals at retail properties in Lakeland and Dunedin, Florida
HOLLYWOOD and LAKELAND, FL – Jan. 11, 2023 – Tobin Real Estate successfully arranged new leases on behalf of retail landlords in the Tampa area. Senior Vice President Louie Granteed represented the shopping center owners BSD Capital in Lakeland and Hillcrest Investors, LTD, in Dunedin, Florida in the transactions.
In Lakeland, Kinship PACE of Central Florida, LLC signed a 15-year lease for 19,830 square feet at Lakeland Town Center. Kinship is a technology and service organization designed to partner with PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) programs to help improve their clinical care and financial performance. It is headquartered in New York.
The deal took several months to complete while Kinship received certain required governmental approvals, as Kinship’s lease is for suites 955, 957 and 963 at the Lakeland Town Center, 917 E. Memorial Blvd. Lakeland, FL. Cushman & Wakefield represented the Tenant Kinship in the transaction.
In a separate lease transaction at Lakeland Town Center, the City of Lakeland Electric signed a 10-year lease for a 2,877-square-foot space.
Since July 2021, Tobin Real Estate has boosted occupancy at the 286,084-square-foot Lakeland Town Center from 40% to 95%. Tenants include Polk County Governmental Center, City of Lakeland, Save-A-Lot, Kinship, Family Dollar, H&R Block, Subway, Checkers, Cash America, Aaron’s, Empire Beauty Outlet, Metro PCS, Rent-A-Center, Tampa Furniture Outlet and many more. Dunedin Plaza has numerous national tenants, such as Beall’s, Save-A-Lot, Dollar Tree, Subway, KFC, H&R Block, Firestone, Firestone and AutoZone.
