Events On The Horizon At The Bishop Museum of Science and Industry

January 10, 2023 by Post

Build Your Own Tower of Tomorrow
Luke loves LEGO®! He was enormously excited when he first stepped into the gallery and looked up at the architectural wonders towering above him. He spent the next two hours building this detailed cathedral, inspired by real-life architecture.
Like Luke, you will be inspired to create your own ‘towers of tomorrow’ with over 200,000 loose LEGO® bricks available in hands-on construction areas. Young and old will be limited only by their imagination as they add their creations to a steadily rising futuristic LEGO® metropolis inside the exhibition.
Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO® Bricks will be on display at The Bishop from November 22 through March 18.
The exhibition is generously sponsored byFlorida Power & Light and the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau
Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO® Bricks is a travelling exhibition produced bySydney Living Museums and toured internationally by Flying Fish.
LEGO® Challenge Night
Do you REALLY love LEGO®? Do you aspire to be a master builder or to meet one? Are you curious about how to build? Then we’ve got a great night for you! Local resident, model designer, and winner of LEGO® MASTERS US Season 1, Tyler Clites, will be on site to share his experience of being on TV, doing what he loves, and what role he now plays in designing for LEGO.
Then, it’s your turn! You’ll get the chance to build a random item with a team…But only one team will be crowned the Bishop Brick Builder Champions by Tyler! Light bites included with registration, drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) available for purchase. Grab your team of friends & come build with The Bishop…After Dark! What will you build?
Bishop After Dark is a Museum experience designed for adults 18 years and older.
