Manatee County Clerk invites couples to be wed on Valentine’s Day in a BIG way

December 20, 2022 by Post

Bradenton, Fla.— Couples looking for a special, unique way to tie the knot are invited to participate in the Manatee Clerk & Comptroller’s third annual Valentine’s Day group wedding. This beautifully planned event consists of a single group ceremony performed by Clerk & Comptroller Angel Colonneso that unites the couples in attendance.

Last year the Clerk’s office united 12 couples in wedded bliss.

The ceremony begins at 2:00 p.m. on the front lawn of the Manatee County Historic Courthouse located at 1115 Manatee Ave West in Bradenton, Florida.

Participating couples will receive a printed photo and a Certificate of Marriage commemorating the special day. Additionally, couples and their guests will be treated to refreshments and cake to celebrate their big day.

Ms. Colonneso has waived the $20.00 photo fee and the $30.00 ceremony fee for couples participating in the group wedding from the “Simply Elegant Wedding” package; however, the standard license fee will still apply.

To comply with state-mandated time requirements and to be eligible to register for this event, couples must obtain their marriage license between December 16, 2022, and February 11, 2023.

Applying for a marriage license is easy. Couples are first required to complete the online marriage application, and then both applicants must appear in person at our office during hours of operation, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Couples must sign-up by February 7 to participate. Click here to register.
