It’s going to be a great year!”

“We are excited for Wendy and Marianne to join our Board of Directors,” commented Executive Director Annie Breitinger. “We Care Manatee’s board is a dynamic group of professionals committed to strengthening the safety net of care for Manatee County’s uninsured residents. They will be great additions.”
We Care Manatee’s mission is to facilitate free medical care to uninsured, limited income residents of Manatee County. It was founded in 1999 by the Manatee County Medical Society with the vision of Manatee County as a healthy, vibrant community where all residents have access to medical care regardless of their ability to pay. Over the past twenty years, hundreds of area residents have received free medical services valued at over $10 million as the result of the generosity of local medical practitioners.
