Richard grew up outside Manchester, United Kingdom, and quickly rose to play international youth soccer and progressed to the professional level. Upon college graduation, Ainscough then moved back to Europe to play professionally with Pepo Lappeenranta in Finland and then got to play in Spain and Scotland for professional teams. As Varsity Soccer Coach at Admiral Farragut Academy, “I believe in having total “buy-in,” from all players on the team, to our core values and methodologies of the way we play, regardless of the opposition. Commitment to fight and compete for your teammates on the pitch is something I try to instill into the group from day one and must be non-negotiable.
