“Children are our future, we have to start taking care of their wellbeing today to create a
better tomorrow for society as a whole,” says Jim Potesta, CEO of Orangetheory
Fitness Afterburn.
Girls on the Run reaches girls at a critical stage, strengthening their confidence at a
time when society begins to make them question their self-worth. This program does
this by underscoring the important connection between physical and emotional health,
the program addresses the whole girl when she needs it the most.
If you know of a family or young child who could benefit from this program, you can
apply for assistance here: www.girlsontherun.org
“From physical health to their emotional health, we’re in the business of helping people.
Everyone needs a little help sometimes,” said Potesta.
