Bradenton, FL – November 15, 2022 The Food Bank of Manatee, a PLUS program of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee will be hosting a Food4Families Thanksgiving distribution on Monday, November 21st, which will include frozen turkeys, canned vegetables, and all the fixings for 500 local families to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal at home.
“The impacts of the recent hurricanes combined with the rising costs of living have resulted in many people relying on Meals on Wheels PLUS and The Food Bank of Manatee for help this holiday season,” stated Maribeth Phillips, President & CEO of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee. “We are thankful for the support we have received from the community to help make this Thanksgiving food distribution possible,” she added.
The drive-through Thanksgiving distribution will take place at Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee, located at 811 23rd Ave. East in Bradenton, 34208 from 4:00pm-6:00pm on Monday, November 21st. Quantities are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
One of the PLUS programs of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee, The Food Bank of Manatee is the largest hunger relief organization based in Manatee County.
