Gulfport, FL – Brenda McMahon Gallery is celebrating its Second Annual Fiber Arts Showcase this holiday season with a themed show by four uniquely talented fiber artists lasting through December. Artists Marlene Glickman, Alice Pickett Lewis, Ellen Nepustil and emerging artist Zoe Quinn Kelly have works on display ranging from dyed silk and eco-printed scarves to Kimono inspired fabric panels, textile collages and felted landscapes.
It’s the second consecutive year that owner Brenda McMahon has showcased the fiber arts during holiday shopping season, with last year’s show being one of the more popular shows of the year at the Gallery.
Says McMahon, “There are so many things I love about this show. The artwork by these four artists is so unique and tactile and are instant conversation starters amongst our visitors. We’re thrilled to have their touchy, feely and deliciously textural artwork throughout the Gallery all holiday shopping season. The uniqueness of art available – from wearable art to decorative – offers something for everyone on your gift-giving list.”
In addition to the fiber arts, Brenda McMahon Gallery carries the works by 20 of the state’s finest artists across a wide range of mediums; ceramics, paintings, jewelry, glass art, mixed-media and more. The Gallery also offers handmade glass ornaments by Susan Gott and Dan Alexander and an assortment of handmade cards by Gallery artists ideal for the holiday season.
Brenda McMahon Gallery is located at 2901 Beach Boulevard S. in downtown Gulfport and can be found and shopped online at brendamcmahongallery.com and on social media outlets @BrendaMcMahonGallery.
