(Tampa, Florida) – The West Florida Division of PulteGroup brought home multiple honors at the 2022 Tampa Bay Builders Association’s Awards of Excellence. The division earned top awards for its sales, building, and marketing efforts, while several individuals were recognized for their outstanding leadership and contribution to the local building industry.
Division President Sean Strickler received the Leadership Appreciation Award for his exemplary leadership of the company over the past year. As the construction industry has been hard hit with labor and supply chain constraints, Sean has guided the construction of an expected 1,500+ homes this year and grown the division by 20 percent. But Sean’s true accomplishment is in the culture he’s created with engaged and inspired team members who feel valued, included, empowered, and respected.
Kelli Bailey, Vice President of Sales, was honored as Sales Director/VP of the Year. Kelli has risen through the ranks at PulteGroup, where she started as an intern in 2004 and was named Vice President of Sales five years ago. Under her leadership, division sales have increased an average of 32 percent each year.
PulteGroup team members Zach Garber, Andrew Rizzo, and Shane White were recognized with the Golden Hammer Award, which highlights those in the field construction process who provided excellent customer service, and service to their organization or exceeded company metrics over the last year.
The Best Special Event/Charity/PR Campaign went to the division’s “Built to Honor” program, which builds a mortgage-free home for deserving veterans and their families. Since its inception, the West Florida Division has delivered five new homes in the Tampa Bay region.
