SARASOTA, FL (November 3, 2022)—Gulfside Bank has hired Robin Scorsone to serve as Assistant Manager, the bank announced today.
“I’m excited to join the team at Gulfside Bank,” says Scorsone. “I’m passionate about customer service and the local community, so I’m honored to be part of the only locally-owned community bank in Sarasota.”
Robin is a senior-level financial services professional with more than 15 years in the banking industry. Originally from the Midwest, Scorsone has held several branch management and private banking roles over the years.
Most recently, Scorsone was a private banking service representative for SouthState Bank, formerly known as CenterState Bank.
Robin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University and holds an active NMLS license.
“We’re delighted to have Robin on our team,” says Tracy Wolfe, Financial Center Manager for Gulfside Bank. “Not only can she help us serve the growing number of customers using our downtown location, but she is also a seasoned banking professional with the skills we need to expand our footprint in east Sarasota County.”
“We opened our second location in 2021,” recalls Dennis Murphy, President and CEO of Gulfside Bank. “The loan production office in Lakewood Ranch has helped us manage our growth, but it’s clear we need another full-service branch to support Sarasota’s growing population east of I-75. We’re actively scouting locations and targeting leadership hires. We think Robin can play a key role in that growth.”
