Town Hall Meeting “Cyber Monday“ Nov. 28 St. Petersburg, FL. Conceived by the creative minds of the St. Pete Catalyst, Cityverse looks to offer immense value to the local community of artists. Like the Catalyst, which was created to innovate and revitalize local news, Cityverse is driven by this abundant, local activity, captured in the Catalyst and allows artists to take advantage of virtual galleries, art content, and NFTs on a new, exciting, city-wide platform. The evening will consist of an educational presentation on Blockchain technology, NFTs and a sneak preview of Cityverse’s functionality. While the platform promises to be as intuitive and easy to navigate as uploading a picture to Facebook, the Cityverse team recognizes the importance of fine-tuning the software to best fit the needs of the thriving St.Pete artist community. A Town Hall event will facilitate this open dialog and will position St Pete artists to participate, create and innovate in the coming web3 revolution. For the occasion, WADA artist Carrie Jadus will create a unique piece of art, which will be divided digitally into squares, each one becoming a unique NFT. WADA members who attend and sign up for Cityverse will be gifted these exclusive NFTs. The Town Hall takes place at the ArtsXchange Campus at 515 22nd Street South on Monday November 28 (“Cyber Monday”) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. There will be a Q&A after the presentations and refreshments will be provided! |
