The Florida Peninsula Insurance family of companies announces the retirement of their Vice President of Underwriting, Michael Koscielny, CPCU CIC. Koscielny joined Florida Peninsula Insurance Company in 2014 and has worked in the insurance industry for more than four decades.
Joe Fagan replaces Koscielny as the new Vice President of Underwriting for Florida Peninsula and its wholly owned subsidiary Edison Insurance Company.
“Mike has made significant contributions to our Underwriting Department over the past 8 years. He is a true professional who will be missed by our entire team,” said Clint Strauch, president of FPI and Edison. “We feel confident, though, given Joe’s depth of insurance industry experience he will step into this role seamlessly.”
Fagan has an extensive background in property underwriting, having spent 16 years in leadership roles with Travelers Insurance in Hartford, CT with his last six years as Senior Managing Director of National Underwriting. Most recently, he served as Underwriting Governance Leader with AIG Private Client Group/Lexington Insurance. Fagan received a degree in Business Management from Rhode Island College and earned an API Designation from The Institutes.
