CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. (Oct. 24, 2022) Plantation on Crystal River is hosting their Manatee Amateur Golf Classic (Nov. 11-13) at the Plantation on Crystal River Golf Club. The tournament has a $5,000 prize purse and is open to all male amateurs with a USGA established handicap or play at zero. The tournament kicks off Friday, Nov. 11, with an optional practice round and skins game. On Saturday and Sunday, the tee time is 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. The cost is $160 per player ($110 for members) and includes course and cart fees, range balls, a tee gift, and an awards presentation with lunch after play on Sunday. The tournament also features on course contests, as well as a two-man team putting contest with beverages after play on Saturday.
