Tampa, FL, Friday October 21, 2022 – Last night, The Tampa EDITION hosted a private performance by global icon Lenny Kravitz at Tampa’s Amalie Arena, in celebration of the official launch of EDITION’s 15th hotel. The star-studded evening welcomed friends and fans including Joan Smalls, Karrueche Tran, Tina Kunakey, Ashlee Simpson-Ross, Evan Ross, Ciarra Pardo, Jesse Williams, and more. The 13-song set list included hits American Woman, Let Love Rule and Are You Gonna Go My Way. Guests were welcomed with a pre-concert reception at MARKET at EDITION by Michelin-Starred Chef John Fraser, and the concert kicked off with energetic sets by DJ Ruckus and Tokyo Rose.
“It’s a blessing to be here on this beautiful night to perform and to celebrate with my friends the opening of The Tampa EDITION,” noted Kravitz.
Following the performance, guests were invited to a full hotel takeover afterparty back at The Tampa EDITION spanning the Lobby Bar, Lilac, rooftop terrace restaurant Azure at EDITION, Punch Room, and Arts Club, where legendary DJs Q-Tip and D-Nice surprised guests with a joint set under the venue’s 350 disco balls.
