WHO: Straz Center and Patricia J. Sullivan Partnership School
WHAT: Students, most of whom reside at Metropolitan Ministries, will receive ballet shoes

DETAILS: About 90 students in kindergarten through fifth grade attending Patricia J. Sullivan Partnership School will be given ballet shoes, compliments of the Straz Center, and will participate in ballet classes taught by Patel Conservatory ballet instructor Hannah Box.
Box teaches ballet to every student every Friday; this will be the first class in which they will have their ballet shoes. Students attending Sullivan primarily are residents of Metropolitan Ministries homeless shelter.
This event is not open to the general public. Please note that most, but not all, students may be photographed.
Sullivan is one of 47 education partners in the Straz Arts Education Partnership Program this academic year. Each year, the conservatory works with under-served area schools, agencies and community organizations by providing high-quality individualized performing arts programming and/or tickets to shows at the Straz.
