WINTER PARK — Grant Cornwell, who serves as the 15th president of historic Rollins College in Winter Park – the No. 1 Liberal Arts college in Florida – is John Crossman’s next guest on The Crossman Conversation Saturday, Oct. 22 at 1:05 p.m.

Crossman launched his radio show this year to spotlight community leaders and activists who are trying to make a difference, especially to share strategies on how to promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

President Cornwell established Rollins’ DEI Strategic Initiative last spring with the goal of reforming the culture and policies of the college founded in 1885 to better handle the needs of its expanding diverse community.

An update on that initiative was among Cornwell’s top priorities in this fall’s State of the College address and diversity of the student body is the highest in the college’s history.
Cornwell also authored a book for professionals in all segments of higher education to promote several objectives, including embracing differences and multicultural appreciation.

Crossman is excited to share stories and perspective from Cornwell who is ranked as one of Orlando’s 50 most powerful leaders by Orlando magazine.

The Central Florida business leader’s talk show is heard on three stations across the Shepherd Radio network, each part of the MARC Radio group. 1270 AM – WIWA in Orlando which covers the entire Central Florida area. In the Ocala/Villages area, The Shepherd is heard on 103.5 FM and 720 AM, while Gainesville listeners can hear the broadcast on 96.3 FM or 1430 AM.
