![]() Asolo Repertory Theatre Teaching Artists are coming to The Bishop for a special monthly Tales Under the Tree (September-December). Become a storyteller! Asolo Rep brings literature to life and encourages families to learn different methods of storytelling, movement, and art making. Families work together to dive deeper into literacy through theatre – creating characters, exploring movement, sound, and design, and building worlds with objects that are all around us. Get on your feet, create together, and experience stories in a fun and accessible way. When/Where: Under the Mighty Oak in the Mosaic Backyard Universe, Saturday October 15, 2pm.Cost: Free with Museum admission |
![]() Yoga at The Bishop Join us at The Bishop for Manatee Yoga! Adults can enjoy tranquil views of the manatees being cared for in the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat while engaging in yoga poses focused on balance, flexibility, and strength. Guests will need to bring their own yoga mats. Proceeds support manatee rehabilitation so we can help them return to the wild. Group size is limited to 15 participants and advance registration is required. Ages 7 and up welcome! Come join us as we use the Museum’s exhibitions and resources to explore space, play games, meet special guests, and much more! Planetarium Night – Gather with friends as we bring to light all that The Planetarium has to offer, from deep dives into the depths of space to immersive explorations here on Earth. What begins as a real-time scientific adventure turns into a deep meditation on our place in the universe. As usual, the evening will begin with drinks and conversation at 6:30 pm.
