Junior League of Sarasota accepting donations for those impacted by Hurricane Ian

The Junior League of Sarasota is teaming up with the South County Food Pantry to collect donations for those impacted by Hurricane Ian. The South County Food Pantry is requesting the following items: 

Food & Beverages:
Gatorade/PowerAde and Juice Boxes
Mac and Cheese
Nonperishable foods Especially protein:  canned tuna, chicken, beans, and peanut butter (Flip tops please can openers are scarce)

Baby Supplies:
Wipes, diaper cream & diapers  (there is plenty of formula on hand right now)

Household / Tech Items:
Flashlights, Batteries (Mostly AAA), Battery operated Lights, Power banks for Phones, Manual Can openers

Personal Hygiene Items:
Feminine Hygiene & Body Wipes

Cleaning Supplies:
Paper towels, Toilet paper, Dish Soap. Disinfectant Wipes, Dishwasher Tablets

Donation drop off will be at the Junior League of Sarasota headquarters 3300 S Tamiami Trail, in Sarasota during the following times: 

Friday 10/7 9-12 amSat 2-4 pm  
Sunday 4-6 pm
Monday 9-11 am
