Dates: Saturday, October 1 – Saturday, October 30, 2022
Charlotte has worked in various art forms for as long as she can remember. She studied in Boston at the Museum School of Fine Arts and the New England School of Art and Design. Charlotte continues to broaden her scope as an artist by taking many other courses along the way.
Painting is her first love, but in addition, she has worked in glass making, lamp-worked glass beads, and jewelry and clothing design.
Charlotte paints to express and enjoy the magic of the Gulf waters — as well as the skies, clouds, birds, and flora. She strives to capture the vision of what she observes, and encourages others to appreciate what they are looking at, such as patterns in the sand, clouds blooming on the horizon and close-ups of birds talking to each other. Sometimes before she knows it, a painting has become a story. Charlotte says “I have lived in Florida for five years now and am mesmerized by the colors of the Gulf, the many approachable birds and swaying palms . . . it all helps to keep the paint brush wet!“
Meet the artist! Charlotte will be welcoming visitors at the gallery on Friday,
October 14, from 11 am to 4 pm — when you will have a chance to talk to Charlotte about her inspirations and life as an artist. There will be a 10% discount on all of Charlotte’s paintings on that Friday only. Most of her paintings are acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas — ready to easily display.
