TAMPA – The University of Tampa has been named to Bloomberg Businessweek’s ranking of the best – and most diverse — business schools of 2022-2023.
The Sykes College of Business MBA program was ranked overall No. 79 out of 117 business schools in the U.S. and the world.
In addition to the overall ranking, schools are separately ranked on five component indexes — compensation, networking, learning, entrepreneurship and diversity. UT ranked highest in the area of diversity, and was ranked the No. 9 school in the world in that area.
The list is based on survey data compiled from students, alumni and corporate recruiters. Reseachers also reviewed compensation and job-placement data from each school.
In the ranking, students and alumni were quoted describing UT’s strengths as:
- Exposing students to “the necessary requirements to operate a business in a global integrated environment”
- “Small class sizes and enthusiastic professors with industry experience”
- “Quality of teaching, applying real-world problems/situations, small class size”
