Clinic celebrates National Pet Wellness Month with discounts, live demonstrations, prizes, adoptable animals, food and entertainment
TAMPA, Fla. – Sept. 21, 2022 – CountryChase Veterinary Clinic is hosting a family and dog-friendly community event, “More Years, Better Lives,” on October 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their clinic, located at 12501 W. Linebaugh Ave. in Tampa.
Celebrating National Pet Wellness Month, CountryChase veterinarians will lead live demonstrations of wellness services to educate the public on how they can provide their pets with long, happy and healthy lives. Participants can also look forward to special discounts on services and products, nutrition counseling, nail trimming tutorials, clinic tours, and raffle prizes.
Three animal rescue groups, including the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, will be in attendance with adoptable dogs and cats. Children can look forward to a dedicated hour at noon with games and entertainment, including cat wand crafting, catnip planting, tie-dye pet bandana painting, and bingo. Refreshments and a food truck will be present, in addition to local vendors, and four other veterinary sister hospitals: Animal Health Center of Land O’ Lakes, All Pets Hospital, Lakeside Animal Hospital, and UrgentVet.
“We hope the community will witness firsthand how much support is available for their pets’ wellness – right in their backyard,” said Jacob Ware, Regional Director of Operations with American Veterinary Group, owner and operator of CountryChase. “CountryChase created this first-ever event to not only be an advocate for pets’ wellness, but an ally for their neighborhood clients’ needs.”
Event parking is available at the Pilot Bank next door, located at 12471 W. Linebaugh Ave. Dogs are encouraged to be leashed.
