Sarasota, Fla. (Sept. 20, 2022)–Oh my gourd, it’s back again! The Suncoast Science Center/Faulhaber Fab Lab is thrilled to bring back its annual Halloween workshop, unlike any other. Attendees will learn how to create or find a custom design to be engraved onto a pumpkin using the Fab Lab’s high-tech laser engraver. New this year, guests can also customize a Halloween mask or tray of 3D Halloween chocolates utilizing the lab’s vacuum former machine. Level up your Halloween decorations while having a ton of festive family fun! No experience is required and all ages are welcome to learn and explore at the workshop.
Hour-long sessions are available from 2:00-7:00 pm on Saturday, October 15 and from 1:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, October 16, at the Fab Lab at 4452 Beneva Road, Sarasota, FL 34233. Up to three guests may attend per $45 registration. Registration includes a choice of two activities: one laser-engraved pumpkin, one vacuum-formed Halloween mask or one tray of vacuum-formed chocolates. Please reserve multiple slots if more children or adults would like to attend. The Halloween workshop sells out every year so reserve your spot early!
