September 7, 2022 by Post

The exhibit features artifacts from the World Trade Center and guided tours from FDNY Firefighters who responded to Ground Zero on September 11th.

On September 8, 2022 an escort will bring the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit to Sims Park located in downtown New Port Richey.  The exhibit will be open September 9th beginning at 9:00 am until after the City’s Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on September 11, 2022.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is committed to ensuring that we NEVER FORGET what happened on
September 11th, 2001.

Since 2013, the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit has traveled the country educating Americans about what happened on the day that changed America forever.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that we NEVER FORGET the legacy of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Tours are conducted by retired New York City Firefighters who bravely responded to the events on that fateful day. They share their stories of what happened that day and the days after, bringing history to life for those who were born after September 11th or are too young to remember it. The 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit is instrumental in reminding us all why we should NEVER FORGET.

The 83-foot tractor-trailer transforms into a 1,100 square foot exhibit which features World Trade Center Steel, aluminum façade from the buildings, radio transmissions from first responders, and items found in the rubble after the Twin Towers collapsed.

The City of New Port Richey and Friendly KIA have partnered together to bring the exhibit to Sims Park to keep the promise to NEVER FORGET and to educate our youth.
