Guests visiting the new Sea Rocket Gulf Coast Parasail location at 402 Church Street (Bradenton Beach Marina) receive an hour  “bucket list” adventure on the water with an experienced crew and enjoy the view high above some of the most beautiful waters and beaches in America. From Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, and Longboat Key towards the St. Pete Skyway, guests see the coastal treasures of the area during the trip including Egmont Key, the historic Cortez fishing villages, and an abundance of wildlife in Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico from manatees to dolphins.

“The Florida West Coast is growing and our Bradenton Beach/Anna Maria Island location is considered to be part of booming Tampa Bay, attracting millions of locals and visitors year round,” Wangel explained. “We are excited to work with the Bradenton Beach Marina, already offering an array of first-class adventures on the water.”

Since 2021, the company has offered a Florida “SEA ROCKET” experience, starting on the the East Coast. “We opened our Ft. Lauderdale location in 2021 and recently added Bradenton Beach this spring. The company has plans for further expansion.  The sport of parasailing has really taken off.” He reports. “The boats and equipment we use has come a long way in the last decade. We maintain an immaculate fleet of boats and new equipment. We have also been a voice pushing for more regulation throughout the industry.”

He says they pride themselves on offering first class experiences. “Our Captain and crew are professionals, with decades of experience between them from operating similar businesses all over the world. Our Bradenton Captain Matt Murphy has a spotless safety record for the past 25 years and competed professionally in the sport from the Caribbean to Europe before settling in Florida.”

The common customer profile is either a couple or families of four or five. Children must be at least five years old but beyond that, there is no age limit. Also, no two adventures are alike.  “We take you along Longboat Pass if it’s a calm day, but  if it’s choppy, we will fly in Tampa Bay since it’s much calmer waters.”

All of the team members in Bradenton love water sports and are highly experienced. Anna  Johnson has lived all over the country as a competitive surfer and  enjoyed water sports for over 40 years. She  loves living in this part of the world where Manatees and Dolphins pop up almost daily and shares information on the flora and the fauna of the area to each customer. “My goal is to educate visitors and involve people in the priceless beauty of this area. This environment has to be treasured and is so precious. She loves to  see the kids come back from their adventure in the air and she shares in their excitement daily.”
