Sept. 8th Workshop Offers Tools to Avoid Burnout and Reclaim Joy in Work and Life

August 26, 2022 by Post

The Women’s Council of Realtors/Manatee County will host a transformational workshop with nationally renowned author and speaker Brenda Viola on September 8th at the Manatee Performing Arts Center.

“We believe in giving our members and the community at large tools to succeed in work and in life,” remarked Tony Barrett, Women’s Council President. “With the many stressors impacting us all in recent years, self-care has never been more important. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to identify warning signals that lead to burnout, while offering tools to course-correct.”

Brenda Viola’s book, The Public Servants’ Survival Guide, was released in 2020 and provides the centerpiece of the workshop. “Brenda’s candor and authenticity offer guaranteed ‘a-ha’ moments, mingled with laughter and opportunities for self-reflection,” added Barrett.

“Life is full of challenges, speedbumps, and disappointments, but I encourage my audiences that they are the CEO of their own lives,” said Viola. “We can’t control what happens to us in life, but we can control how we respond – and that makes all the difference.” During the three-hour workshop, Viola will walk attendees through ten checkpoints while offering tools to empower and inspire. Participants will have the opportunity to meet the author and receive a personally signed book at the end of the session.

Tickets are $35 and sponsorship packages are available. (List sponsorship packages?) Seating is limited and registration will close on August 31, 2022.
