After selling out and seating almost 1,500 local residents for three show dates, the LAUGHTER in LWR™ upscale clean comedy experiences are a smash hit! And, it all takes place in GROVE’s spectacular ballroom.
Due to another overwhelming positive response about these comedy events, Grove Restaurant, Patio & Ballroom and Knock Out Marketing & PR present, “LAUGHTER in LWR™!” a stand-up comedy event on Saturday, October 15, 2022. The event will have two show times, 5 PM & 8 PM and features an all-new lineup of three headliner comedians, flown in just for this event: Goldiee, Shelia Kay and Phil Palisoul. The show’s Emcee will be Sarasota’s own, and Award-winning Actor and Playwright, Jeffery Kin.
Proceeds will be shared with the Humane Society of Manatee County. The shows Producer, Knock Out Marketing & PR’s Owner, Katie Smith shares, “Producing these upscale comedy events has been a dream come true for my husband, Allen, and myself. Bringing our community together through laughter has brought such joy to all of us! It’s important for us to produce high-quality shows and showcase CLEAN comedians only. This ensures a sense of joy, without awkwardness, that we are hoping our guests bring back to their homes and into the community. After all, laughter is the best medicine!”

Ticket prices range from $55 to $85, and the show style encompasses three hilarious comedians back-to-back, creating non-stop laughter. Cash bars will be available as well as service throughout the show by Grove’s finest staff. (Cash and credit cards accepted).

This experience is $50 + tax & gratuity, and includes: Exclusive VIP Lanyard Pass, Early Check-In and Entry into the Ballroom, Cocktail Party in Cedar Room and Terrace, Unlimited Beer & Wine, Unlimited Hors D’Oeuvres and a Welcome Glass of Champagne in the Ballroom.
It is encouraged that guests come early and socialize with friends, as doors open 45 minutes before each show time. Grove is generously offering a 10% off voucher with each ticket. You are welcome to enjoy dinner in the Grove restaurant (connected to the ballroom) before or after your show time. Reservations are highly recommended.
Guests will wind down the evening with a night cap and meet-and-greet with the comedians after each show.
