Hope Villages of America Presents Sixth Annual Grand Gala

August 17, 2022 by Post

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 17, 2022) – Hope Villages of America (HVA) is hosting its sixth annual Gala to raise funds for neighbors in need in Tampa Bay. The glitz and glamour event will celebrate the generous and compassionate supporters who provide help and hope to nearly 150,000 individuals each year.

“We’re excited to be hosting our sixth annual Gala this year at Safety Harbor Resort & Spa,” said President and CEO Kirk Ray Smith. “The generous supporters of Hope Villages of America and our annual Gala event allow us to help so many deserving individuals and families within our community. We’re very grateful for the ongoing support of our organization!”

Hope Villages of America will host the Gala at Safety Harbor Resort & Spa, located at 105 N. Bayshore Dr in Safety Harbor on Saturday, August 20, 2022. The 2022 Gala is proudly presented by philanthropically focused businesses and community members, including Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Anona United Methodist Church, David Siracusa, Ken and Drina Meyer, CHAF Properties, Clear Choice Tree Service, Bizco Technologies, Pinch a Penny, Global Painting, PDR, The Thomas Family, Lowes Commercial Painting, Alltrust, Peter and Carolyn Gibson, Regions Bank and Be Local Magazines and Stroll Harbor Bluffs.

Individuals may purchase their Golden Tickets online at https://hopevillagesofamerica.org/gala-sponsorships-tickets/. The event will begin with a VIP reception at 6 p.m. and continue at 7 p.m. with an array of auction and raffle items along with dinner, dancing, and comments from Hope Villages’ President and CEO, Kirk Ray Smith. It’s sure to be a night you won’t want to miss.

Each year, HVA serves hundreds of families by providing a spectrum of housing stability services that meet Tampa Bay residents at their moment of need. “The Haven provides services to 12,000 men, women, and children annually through our Outreach Center and over 6,000 nights of safety for women and children through our Safe House last year,” Smith explained. “In addition, our Goldsmith Gardens, HVA’s affordable housing units, serves 11 families annually. Our residents receive follow-up case management and other services to ensure they stay on the path to self-sufficiency. None of these programs would be here without the support of those who live here and give here through events like the Grand Gala.”
