PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 17, 2022) – Hope Villages of America (HVA) is hosting its sixth annual Gala to raise funds for neighbors in need in Tampa Bay. Each year, HVA serves hundreds of families by providing a spectrum of housing stability services that meet Tampa Bay residents at their moment of need. “The Haven provides services to 12,000 men, women, and children annually through our Outreach Center and over 6,000 nights of safety for women and children through our Safe House last year,” Smith explained. “In addition, our Goldsmith Gardens, HVA’s affordable housing units, serves 11 families annually. Our residents receive follow-up case management and other services to ensure they stay on the path to self-sufficiency. None of these programs would be here without the support of those who live here and give here through events like the Grand Gala.”
