Sarasota Chamber Announces Leadership Class of 2023 Neuro Challenge Foundation’s Dr. Sara Grivetti Selected

Sarasota, FL – Neuro Challenge Foundation’s Dr. Sara Grivetti has been selected for Leadership Sarasota, a program of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. Leadership Sarasota identifies current and future leaders to participate in a 10-month program focused on developing awareness of the Sarasota community and its needs. Each applicant goes through a rigorous application and interview process with members of the Leadership Counsel, all former Leadership Sarasota graduates, reviewing their expertise.

Participants will attend sessions on leadership and issues critical to Sarasota. Leadership Sarasota is an opportunity for leaders in our area to further develop their leadership abilities, make connections, and contribute to the incredible legacy of leadership in our region.

“It is an honor to be selected and I look forward to developing relationships with my classmates. One of our leadership class’s assignments will be to take on a project with a local nonprofit. We will be bringing our collective knowledge and varying skills to leave an impact on the organization. I truly appreciate the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce establishing insightful programs like Leadership Sarasota to utilize experienced professionals in our community to work together, learn together, and achieve lasting results together,” explains Dr. Grivetti, CEO Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s.

Leadership Sarasota has more than 1,000 diverse alumni, ranging from elected officials and CEOs from various industries. 

About Dr. Sara Grivetti: With more that 30 years of experience with neuro challenges, has worked with an array of issues related to disabilities and chronic health conditions. Sara holds a master’s degree and doctorate from Michigan State University in the field of Rehabilitative Counseling. Her focus of research has been adjustment to disability and health conditions and the impact of diagnosis on the family and care partners.

Sara is known as a leader in public policy, advocacy, and education that betters the life of persons affected by disability or chronic health conditions.
