A Special Episode of The Crossman Conversation ̶ Monday Aug 15 – Will Explore Guest’s Special Connection with Rapper Icon Kendrick Lamar

August 11, 2022 by Post

ORLANDO — The Crossman Conversation hosted by John Crossman across The Shepherd network in Central Florida will air a special episode Monday Aug. 15 at 11:00 a.m. His guest, Thomas G. Bolen, III is a Washington D.C. commercial real estate professional who Crossman mentored about a decade ago.

Bolen will share the recent experience he had connecting with Kendrick Lamar, an artist described by the editor of Rolling Stone magazine as the most talented rapper of his generation, and someone who Bolen says inspired him to succeed both musically, professionally and spiritually.

Bolen was a percussionist for the Florida A&M University’s Marching 100 Band throughout his college career. He also received an ICSC Foundation award for working to increase diversity in the Commercial Real Estate Industry.

“Music has been fundamental in my life, and Kendrick Lamar’s music is always particularly inspiring,” Bolen said. At a recent performance, Bolen’s long-time friend Tajon Sydnor recorded a video of Bolen and the Grammy-award-winner, which was so unique Rolling Stone reposted it on social media, and it went viral.

“Viral has never been a personal goal of mine but I am completely overwhelmed by the amount of love and support I have received.”

Crossman said Bolen will relate his experience of that night as well as how he personally became dedicated to his own mission and found peace in his purpose in life by sharing the same values as Kendrick Lamar.

The Shepherd Radio is available on three stations, each part of the MARC Radio group. 1270 AM – WIWA in Orlando which covers the entire Central Florida area. In the Ocala/Villages area, The Shepherd is heard on 103.5 FM and 720 AM, while Gainesville listeners can hear the broadcast on 96.3 FM or 1430 AM.
