TAMPA, FL (August 9, 2022) – Franklin Street continues to expand its retail leasing platform in the Tampa Bay market with the addition of Heather McMillin, who will specialize in retail landlord representation as Senior Director. With senior level experience working for top retail owners and developers, McMillin brings valuable insight and perspective to her role.
With Franklin Street’s Retail Services Team, McMillin will work with owners and developers to improve tenant retention, stabilize operating income and maximize the value of retail properties throughout Tampa Bay and West Florida. She will help drive leasing success for some of the area’s most notable retail properties, while also focusing on business development and growing the team’s portfolio.
With nearly two decades of leasing, sales and marketing experience, McMillin most recently served as Senior Leasing Representative for Brixmor Property Group, publicly traded REIT that owns approximately 400 retail centers across the country. While in that position, she managed the leasing of more than 1.2 million square feet, resulting in $25.9 million in lease value during her tenure. Previously, she spent 10 years in a variety of leasing roles for Westfield and held the position of National Sales Director for Better World Books.
