ORLANDO — Sheila Houlahan, actor, one of the stars of the current movie, Ambulance, will join Central Florida Business Leader John Crossman Saturday, July 23, at 1:05 p.m. for his weekly radio show – The Crossman Conversation.
The executive producer and creator of the current Webby award-winning film Night, Mother, Houlahan also acted in the film set on Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the isolation and mental health crisis generated by the forced year-long lockdown.
Crossman, author and speaker launched his radio show this year across The Shepherd network to provide a platform for activists, like Houlahan, to share ideas on solving widespread issues and challenges.
Houlahan’s strong following on social media provides an additional platform to spread awareness and help end the stigma surrounding mental health.
This summer The Crossman Conversation will host several more experts who will tackle today’s tough topics and offer solutions: Executive Coach John Martinez who uses the same tactics to teach his high-risk third graders to train CEOs how to be good leaders; Judge Elizabeth Gibson, and diversity expert Deloris Nelson Street will also provide insight and share experiences.
The Shepherd Radio is available on three stations, each part of the MARC Radio group. 1270 AM – WIWA in Orlando which covers the entire Central Florida area. In the Ocala/Villages area, The Shepherd is heard on 103.5 FM and 720 AM, while Gainesville listeners can hear the broadcast on 96.3 FM or 1430 AM.
