WHAT: University Area CDC Partners Coalition 3rd Quarter Gathering

DETAILS: The public is invited to this third quarter gathering of the University Area CDC Partners Coalition, where attendees will learn about programs and initiatives happening in the University Area. This gathering is for everyone who has an interest in improving the neighborhoods in the University Area. Complimentary breakfast and coffee bar will be offered and participants are welcome to network.
Agenda will include:
- Welcome and Announcements: Sarah Combs – UACDC CEO & Executive Director
- Community Investment: USF Research Foundation – Allison Madden, Director of Research Foundation Operations
- The Power of Partnership Panel Discussion: Educational Options in the University Area
North Tampa Head Start – Educators Richard Campbell and Nakeisha Smith-Woody
Service-Learning Micro School – Jaime Manfra, Principal
IDEA Public Schools – Latoya McGhee, Principal (IDEA Victory Academy)
- Creative Placemaking Video – Creation of JOY Art Installment
- Announcements and Networking
Additionally, resource tables will be available from the following community organizations: Bay Area Legal Services, AMRoC Fab Lab, WMNF-FM 88.5, Uptown Chamber of Commerce, The Grow Group, North Tampa Head Start, IDEA Public Schools, Service Learning Micro School.
Reservations are requested by emailing RSVP@uacdc.org. There is no charge to attend. While mask wearing is no longer required on University Area CDC properties, guests are welcome to wear masks for their protection and comfort.
