Tampa Tiger Bay Club presents: Legislative candidates forum

TAMPA (July 11, 2022)—The Tampa Tiger Bay Club will present a legislative candidates forum featuring key races in the midterm elections on Friday, July 15.

All candidates were invited to participate. Those confirmed are Senate District 14 Republican Jay Collins and Democratic incumbent Janet Cruz;  House District 2 Democrats Wengay “Newt” Newton, incumbent Michele Rayner and Jesse Philippe; District 65 Republicans Jake Hoffman, Michael Minardi and Karen Gonzalez Pittman; and District 69 Democratic incumbent Andrew Learned.

The program begins promptly at noon on Friday, July 15 in the ballroom of the Cuban Club, 2010 N Avenida Republica de Cuba in Ybor City. The meeting is open to the public. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. Go to tigerbayclub.com for tickets. 

The Tampa Tiger Bay Club, founded in 1982, is a non-partisan political group that presents lively discussions on important issues and candidates running for office.
