Located on the ‘Deuces’, Corridor the historic 22nd Street South, WADA’s Pruitt Arts Education Center, the Tully-Levine Gallery, the Burka Lounge and the 30 individual artist studios on the ArtsXchange campus, will serve as key building blocks for an expanded role that WADA seeks in the arts community. Already, large numbers of visitors make the Warehouse Arts District a fixture every second Saturday for ‘ArtWalk’.
“We are in the midst of creating a full slate of exciting educational programs for member artists and students of all ages and backgrounds. So much has changed since I have attended Admiral Farragut Academy in the late 1990’s. The possibilities and synergies that wait to be explored are almost palatable. We are excited about forming new community partnerships and reinvigorating older ones, moving the organization into a new era with novel ideas and concepts, while maintaining our original mission.”
Markus Gottschlich looks forward to meeting the community between 5-9p at the July 9th ArtWalk in the WADA Membership tent located on 515 22nd Street South, St. Petersburg
