Mark Kowalski, New Board Member at the Child Protection Center

(SARASOTA, FL, 06/29/2022)- The Child Protection Center, Inc. (CPC) has announced the appointment of Mark Kowalski as a new member to its Board of Directors.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mark Kowalski to CPC’s Board of Directors.” said Doug Staley, Executive Director of CPC. “Mark is a dedicated community member to many important causes and is passionate about strengthening our world for children. The addition of Mark to our board comes at the perfect time, as our needs continue to grow. Mark is passionate about the non-profit sector, and his expertise in non-profit funding makes him a great asset to CPC’s Board of Directors.”

Mark has been involved in the greater Sarasota Community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Sarasota County, as well as dedicating time to serve on the Human Services Advisory Council (HSAC). After touring the Child Protection Center and hearing more about our mission, Mark said “I knew I wanted to get more involved with the mission of CPC. The work they do is so important, and I felt called to play a bigger part in the community, especially for children.” Mark and his wife Amanda have 2 children, and he strives to help play a part in creating a safer community for his two girls. “He’s passionate about his family, and we’re excited to welcome Mark and his community-minded focus to our Board.” says Staley.

The Child Protection Center’s mission is the Prevention, Intervention, & Treatment of Child Abuse, as the organization envisions a community where children are safe from abuse and free to thrive. For over 40 years, CPC has been serving Sarasota and DeSoto Counties in the State of Florida and is accredited by the National Children’s Alliance.
