(Tampa, FL—June 17, 2022)—“Giving back is what we’re all about! Our community came out to the Wiregrass Turkey Trot, Casino Night, the After Hours Satellite Rhythm & Brews and other events helping us raise $64,695. On June 17, it’s going back out to 28 community organizations,” said Craig DiCecco, 2021-22 Rotary Club of New Tampa president. He emphasized that club members are people of action who also put in more than $10,000 worth of service hours as the nation emerged from COVID restrictions.
The club’s 71 members look forward to the Give Back Breakfast each year distributing gifts to organizations they nominate. The club invites every organization as special guests. “They’ll have the opportunity to tell how the gift will make an impact. Some may join through Zoom. We’ve packed the ballroom in past years,” DiCecco said.
