A new storage concept is coming to Gandy Boulevard in St. Pete
St. Petersburg, FL (May 25, 2022) – Sales are now open for Motocave, St. Petersburg’s first ‘car condo community’, a new storage concept designed for car enthusiasts looking for ‘experiential’ storage space.
Located at 2051 Gandy Blvd, Motocave sits on 3.75 acres fronting Gandy Blvd and will feature 43 car condominium units arranged in 5 buildings totaling approximately 55,000 square feet (SF). Units will range from 918-1,591 SF and are completely customizable. The project will also include a community clubhouse totaling approximately 2,200 SF.
Motocave is the brainchild of Tampa Bay-based partners DDA Development, Mosk Development Company and Commercial Partners Realty, Inc.
DDA Development Principal Bowen Arnold remarked, “Motocave is a unique destination for automotive, luxury storage needs. Our units are a blank canvas for anyone looking to create a personal, lifestyle experience around their car or luxury RV. We can add whatever amenity an owner wants from lifts and machinery to TVs and sound systems.”
There are other reasons some car enthusiasts are looking for secured storage. According to risk management firm, Risk Strategies, garage condos are increasingly becoming the choice option for those without a secure facility for their vehicles to obtain state of the art security and insurance savings. Some insurance carriers are rewarding clients with credits and discountsfor storing vehicles in facilities that have good risk prevention.
Construction on Motocave is set to begin in the third quarter this year and will take about a year to come online.
