TAMPA, FLORIDA, May 2022: Tampa-based multimedia art collective Crab Devil unveils the artists behind its premier attraction, “The Peninsularium,” in its new series, “3 Artists 3 Questions.” The YouTube series will feature three Crab Devil artists per month, inviting viewers into their studio as they answer three questions about their practice.
“Bringing studio visits to our viewers allows us to share a more intimate experience of the artists and their perspectives,” explains Tracy Midulla, Creative Director of Crab Devil. “The questions we ask are indicative of the kinds of conversations we have in the studio, and it’s been delightful to share the privilege of working closely with all of them, this special sense of camaraderie, with the public.”
Crab Devil was explicitly formed to bring all of these talents under one roof to produce one of the largest, collaborative, multi-disciplinary arts efforts that Florida has ever seen. Crab Devil places value in the skills of artistic practice and people’s ability to thrive from their creative work. The art collective shines a light on Tampa’s diverse and inclusive artist community.

The cross-pollination of ideas and being a part of something bigger than yourself and that will be a part of the local community is so special and affirming as an artist.”
