LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – Halfacre Construction Company, a Lakewood Ranch-based commercial construction company, recently completed construction on Bayside Community Church’s permanent North River Campus in Parrish, Fla.
The new 60,000-square-foot multi-use structure holds an 800-seat auditorium, community areas, an exterior baptismal and designated children’s spaces – complete with audio-visual features, auditorium and classrooms.
Connected by a common roof and a covered drive-thru between the two buildings, an adjacent structure, called The Hub, houses a youth auditorium, meeting space and small group area for both adults and teenagers.
“Now more than ever, people need the hope that is found in Jesus Christ and a strong community with one another. Having a permanent facility for our North River campus will help us to continue to build that strong community, as well as allow us to reach out and serve this area in new ways and share the love of Jesus with more and more people,” said David Murphy, North River Campus Pastor at Bayside Community Church.
In addition to construction, Halfacre Construction Company also performed sitework, which included a 400 space parking lot, new stormwater retention and treatment facility, sewage lift station, curb cuts that adhere to the Florida Department of Transportation specifications and utility coordination. The architect on the project was Hall Darling Design Studio.
Grand opening services at the North River Campus were held on February 27, 2022.
Bayside Community Church began in 2002 at Bashaw Elementary School. Today, the multi-location church serves Manatee, Sarasota, Hardee and Hillsborough counties.
