Port Charlotte, FL – Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s is excited to open a new community office in Charlotte County. Neuro Challenge Foundation has been providing free programs and services to the Port Charlotte area for the past 5 years. The need to expand those services was expressed by the Charlotte County Parkinson’s community and having an office in Port Charlotte will allow Neuro Challenge Foundation to broaden and grow the programs and services in this region. The new office is located at 17831 Murdock Cir, Unit B Port Charlotte, FL 33948.
Dr. Sara Grivetti, CEO Neuro Challenge Foundation, “The population of people with Parkinson’s Disease is growing in the region. Therefore, we felt expanding our existing therapeutic, support, educational programs and care advising services into Charlotte County made sense to Neuro Challenge Foundation.” Dr. Sara Grivetti
“We will be providing support groups and care advising by appointment. Care advising is an opportunity for people with Parkinson’s to address issues and challenges related to the diagnosis with a trained professional who understands the Parkinson’s journey. All of Neuro Challenge’s services are provided at no cost.”
Neuro Challenge is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 10th at 5:30 – 7pm in partnership with the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. Members of the public are invited to attend.
Dr. Grivetti adds, “Charlotte County representation is also bolstered with the appointment of Mr. Bob Bray on Neuro Challenge Foundation board of directors. He is a valued and respected addition to our board.”
“I am honored to serve on the Neuro Challenge Foundation board of directors. I feel I can make a difference by sharing my personal and professional perspectives with the organization,” Bob Bray, Neuro Challenge Foundation board member.
