May 4, 2022 by Post

Tampa, Fla. – Applications for the Straz Center’s 2022-2023 Arts Education Partnership Program, now in its thirteenth year, are available online. The application deadline is Friday, May 27.

The Straz Center seeks to provide high-quality arts learning programs through outreach partnerships. Through this program, the Straz is delivering services at no cost to more than 30 schools and service agencies. Services include sequential performing arts training, teaching artist visits, workshops, master classes and tickets to see study-related performances at the Straz Center. In addition, the Straz Center provides scholarship opportunities for students who wish to pursue further training at the Patel Conservatory.

The application process includes an online application, interview and site visit. Previous partners must reapply to be considered. Selection criteria include, but are not limited to, demonstrated need, student demographics and geographic location.

To complete a Partnership Program application, visit the Straz Center’s website. More information is available by calling 813.222.6419 or emailing emma.trapp@strazcenter.org.

The Straz Center’s Arts Education Partnerships Program is supported in part by Bloomin’ Brands, Couch Family Foundation, Kinder Morgan Foundation, Suncoast Credit Union Foundation, The Spurlino Foundation, Triad Foundation and MetLife Foundation.
