TAMPA – The University of Tampa today announced that it will construct a new, 10-story multipurpose building on campus.
The building is set to have three distinct components: 1) a residence hall that will house more than 600 students, primarily incoming students; 2) academic and student support, including approximately 40 faculty offices, five classrooms, study rooms, a study lounge for veterans and spaces for the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, UT’s Institute for Sales Excellence and the International Programs Office; and 3) parking for approximately 450 vehicles.
Estimated to be more than 450,000 square feet, the building is set to be the largest building on campus, and it will be located just north of the Sykes College of Business.
Construction will begin this May, and completion is expected for Fall 2024.
More details will be forthcoming.
