PETERSBURG, FL (April 19, 2022) — HCA Florida Northside Hospital partnered with Sunstar Paramedics,Suncoast Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. andMykidzmd Pediatrics to host A Day in the Life of a Pediatrician. The educational day of healthcare was presented to local students. The teens were exposed to the practice of medicine and lifesaving skills in the event of an emergency. Local pediatrician, Dr. Regina Hardin held the event at her practice. She talked about the professional life of a pediatrician, goal setting and college tuition financial tips. The teens learned the Sam splint method to treat a one injury and HCA Florida Northside Hospital Cardiologist Dr. Robert Sanchez taught Hands Only CPR to the beat of “Staying Alive”.
