WHAT: University Area CDC Partners Coalition 2nd Quarter Gathering

DETAILS: The public is invited to this second quarter gathering of the University Area CDC Partners Coalition, where attendees will learn about programs and initiatives happening in the Uptown/University Area, and will enjoy complimentary breakfast and networking.
This gathering is for everyone who has an interest in improving the neighborhoods in the Uptown/University Area.
Agenda will include:
• Community Investment – Guest speaker, Brent Wertz of Yuengling
• Power in Partnerships – The community’s role in improving outcomes for youth. Guest speaker Elvin Martinez, Jr.
• Creative Placemaking: University Area Cultural Campus Mural, featuring Junior Polo, Frances Joseph, Cielo Gomez and Sarah Combs
Reservations are required by emailing RSVP@uacdc.org. There is no charge to attend. While mask wearing is no longer required on University Area CDC properties, guests are welcome to wear masks for their protection and comfort.
In addition to University Area CDC, sponsors include Hillsborough County Florida, AaSys, Advent Health and USAA.
Celebrating 23 years of serving the community, University Area CDC offers support for thousands of Tampa residents through youth programs, adult education, and resource assistance. Its primary mission is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding University of South Florida’s Tampa campus.
