We’re back! It’s been over two years since the chorus’ last performance at the Palladium Theater. We’ve been sidelined by the Covid epidemic ever since, but recently we began to sing together again. Though we number only about half of our usual size, we’re ready to perform!
Please join us on May 1st for an hour of inspiring music.ONE CITY CHORUS was founded in the fall of 2016 by Jon Arterton and his husband James Mack with the belief that singing in a group builds community and leads to better understanding among people. The chorus seeks to make the world a better place by singing songs about social justice, civil rights, diversity and equality. We encourage people of all races, cultures, creeds and communities to sing with us. We have NO auditions! Highlights of our first few years together have included singing at First Night St. Pete for three years in a row, singing for 7000 people at the FAST Action at Tropicana Field, singing at St. Pete’s powerful Women’s March and Rally, and receiving standing ovations every year at our annual concerts at the Palladium Theater. Our performances have been described as “joyous, uplifting and beautifully sung” by Creative Loafing Newspaper who honored us with a Best of the Bay Award for “Best Voices Raised Together in Song.”O N E C I T Y C H O R U Swww.OneCityChorus.org www.facebook.com/OneCityChorusJon Arterton 508-487-0477 info@OneCityChorus.org
