On Friday, April 22 & Saturday, April 23, F45 Training is excited to announce we will be opening our doors to the public for a FREE workout, hosting “Project Campbell’s Call” to honor the last wish of fallen Navy SEAL, Chris Campbell (pictured above.)
In his honor, Nels Matson of Bradenton, Florida will attempt to break the World Record for the fastest run across America — from San Francisco City Hall to New York City Hall — in less than 42 days, starting on Aug 30th 2022. He will attempt to run a record-breaking pace of 75 miles per day. Come support him while he trains at F45 Sarasota on April 22 & 23rd.
And you think F45 is challenging!
The goal of “Project Campbell’s Call” is to achieve 100,000 unique donors of any amount to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) ®, answering the Call to Action fallen U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Campbell has left behind for each of us in his will.
Chris Campbell was a Navy SEAL who served our country for almost 15 years and after many deployments, he was killed in Afghanistan in a helicopter crash – along with many of his teammates and other military members. Shortly after his death, his sister learned he left an accompanying note with his will. He hoped 100,000 people would donate to Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) – an organization that provides life-saving services and programs to post 9/11 wounded service members. His last request was selfless and honorable. Let’s help him cross the finish line and meet this goal that defies death and inspires life.
At F45 Sarasota, we PROUDLY support those men and women who so valiantly lay their lives on the line for our freedoms. Some never come home…
How to support & get involved:
In support of this noble cause — on April 22nd and 23rd — F45 Sarasota will be hosting free classes all day long (5am-7pm)
Each day, Nels will be training for this world-record event, running on a treadmill non-stop for 14 hours, only stopping to use the restroom. Come in and Hi-Five to cheer Nels on before, during or after class!
Please join us as we open our doors to the public and aim to host 600 people for a premium group fitness training class to support, encourage and uplift Nels Matson for his journey across the country — in an effort to garner 100k unique donors for the WWP — inspired by Chris Campbell & Project Campbells Call.
