The Florida Peninsula Insurance family of companies is proud to announce Litigation Manager Paige Crider received the Emerging Leader Award at the inaugural Florida Women in Insurance Leadership Awards, presented by Gunster. Ms. Crider was honored on March 3, 2022, in Tallahassee among an impressive list of more than 40 women who are paving the way for a new era of female leadership in Florida’s insurance industry.
Florida Peninsula’s Director of Special Investigations, Virginia Austin, and the company’s Underwriting Analytics Manager, Tamie Moran, also received recognition as nominees.
“We are incredibly proud of Virginia, Paige, and Tamie for their contributions not only to Florida Peninsula but to the Florida insurance industry as a whole in terms of managing fraud and litigation in our state,” said Paul Adkins, Florida Peninsula Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Ms. Crider has been instrumental in the development of Florida Peninsula’s Suit Avoidance initiatives, including facilitating Florida Peninsula’s pre-suit Round Table and managing its Notice of Intent to Litigate (NOIL) program. She was also the lead in coordinating the successful global settlement of 189 cases with the company’s defense counsel.
“We are thoroughly pleased with Paige’s passion for leadership and her impressive list of accomplishments so early in her tenure,” said Rob Carlo, Director of Litigation. “We are positive that she will inspire a solid high performing team as well.”
According to the event founder, Sha’Ron James, “women from every facet of the industry, across all lines of insurance and risks, have made and continue to make significant contributions to Florida’s insurance marketplace. The Florida Women in Insurance Leadership Awards will recognize the outstanding contributions of women like you and the organizations that support you.”
