Bradenton Kiwanis is on the move again as it has done for the last 100 years in Manatee County. The Club continues to look for opportunities to assist children and families and make Manatee County a better place to live.
As part of the Club’s charitable giving, Bradenton Kiwanis is pleased to announce a $50,000 sponsorship to support Habitat for Humanity’s latest home-building project. A kick-off event will be held on Wednesday, April 13th at 12 pm at 1005 3rd Ave W, Palmetto.
The event will include a check presentation and groundbreaking and will be attended by local officials, board members from both organizations, and others. Members of the press are also welcome to attend.
Habitat and Bradenton Kiwanis will be issuing a joint community challenge to raise funds to match the club’s $50,000 gift, which will help cover the remaining costs of the construction of one home. In addition, Kiwanis members are excited about rolling up their sleeves and volunteering their time to help build the home this fall.
